About Us

Seiche Winery and Distillery is located in Portland NY, near the banks of Lake Erie. We opened in 2020 with a focus on producing wine and brandy from grapes sourced locally and from our farm. Our first offering, a dry Riesling, is available through our online store for shipment to customers in NY and a growing number of other states. We expect to release our first brandy in 2022 after giving it some time in barrel. The winery is owned and operated by Chris Costello and Misha Kwasniewski who in addition to their work at the winery are both faculty at a university in the region researching sustainability and fermented beverage flavor respectively. While we are not yet offering tours or tastings we encourage everyone to follow our activities through Instagram at seichewines.
